My Personal Learning Goal
In accordance with the National Educational Technology Standards set forth by the International Society for Technology in Education standard number 5, "Engage in Professional Growth and Leadership," I will grow as a professional by learning how to weave various forms of technology into my classroom to improve my students' learning experiences.
How I Will Work to Achieve My Goal
I will create practice lectures using the Smart Board software and present them to my classmates in a course I am taking that requires micro teaching.
I will take advantage of the opportunities to ask classmates who are already teaching what tools they find are most beneficial for learners.
I will use the Diigo instrument to find sources that will aid me in curriculum development and classroom instruction.
